Gold price hits new record high



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market hit a new record high on Tuesday, driven by a rise in international market rates.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 2,300 per tola compared to the previous day.

As of Tuesday, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 235,400 per tola, up from Rs 233,100 per tola on Monday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,960 per tola, the federation said.
