Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today (Tuesday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 141.76, while the selling rate is Rs 142.36.

For the Euro, the buying rate stands at Rs 166.49 and the selling rate at Rs 167.19. The UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 190.36 and sold at Rs 191.17. Similarly, one Swiss Franc is valued at Rs 177.60 for buying and Rs 178.35 for selling.

Similarly, the Australian Dollar is being exchanged at Rs 93.50 (buying) and Rs 93.90 (selling), while the Canadian Dollar is set at Rs 101.56 for buying and Rs 101.99 for selling. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying and selling rates are Rs 109.56 and Rs 110.03, respectively.

Likewise, 10 Japanese Yen are priced at Rs 9.43 (buying) and Rs 9.47 (selling). One Chinese Yuan is being bought at Rs 19.91 and sold at Rs 20.00. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is valued at Rs 37.80 for buying and Rs 37.96 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is listed at Rs 38.89 and Rs 39.06.

The Thai Baht is being traded at Rs 4.37 (buying) and Rs 4.39 (selling), the UAE Dirham at Rs 38.59 and Rs 38.76, and the Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 33.63 and Rs 33.77, respectively. One hundred South Korean Won are priced at Rs 10.03 (buying) and Rs 10.07 (selling).

The Swedish Krona is set at Rs 15.05 for buying and Rs 15.11 for selling, while the Danish Krona is listed at Rs 22.16 and Rs 22.26, respectively. The Hong Kong Dollar has been fixed at Rs 18.21 for buying and Rs 18.29 for selling.

High-value currencies include the Kuwaiti Dinar, set at Rs 463.97 (buying) and Rs 465.84 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at Rs 376.05 and Rs 377.64, and the Omani Rial at Rs 368.19 and Rs 369.75, respectively.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees remains fixed at Rs 160 for both buying and selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision as necessary. Additionally, commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the most updated figures can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
