Sixth session of Karnali Provincial Assembly prorogued



KARNALI: The sixth session of the Karnali Provincial Assembly has been officially prorogued.

Based on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Karnali Provincial Government, Provincial Chief Yagya Raj Joshi ended the ongoing sixth session of the Assembly’s second term effective from midnight.

Speaker Nanda Gurung confirmed that the session was concluded in accordance with Article 183(2) of the Constitution.

During the sixth session, a total of 34 meetings were held. In its final meeting on Wednesday, the Assembly passed a bill related to the management of pesticides in Karnali Province.
