Three parliamentary committees to meet today



KATHMANDU: Three separate parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings on Thursday. These include the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee; the Women and Social Affairs Committee; and the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee.

The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee will convene at 11 a.m. in the committee meeting room at Singha Durbar. The meeting will focus on a clause-wise discussion of the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2082.

At the same time, the Women and Social Affairs Committee will meet at Singha Durbar to review the implementation status of directives previously issued by the committee.

Meanwhile, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. at Singha Durbar. The agenda includes discussion on the subcommittee’s report regarding the School Education Bill, 2080.
