Nepal women’s football team returns home after heartbreak in Asian Cup Qualifiers



KATHMANDU: The Nepali national women’s football team returned home on Monday morning after competing in the Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The team bowed out of the tournament following a narrow defeat against Uzbekistan in their final match, which ended in a tiebreaker.

Despite the loss, the squad was praised for their determined performance throughout the qualifiers.

The players were welcomed back with warm appreciation for their efforts in representing Nepal on the international stage.
