KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Water and Meteorology has predicted rainfall across the country today.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in several hilly areas, along with isolated showers in other regions. Heavy rainfall may occur at one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, it said.
In the high hilly and mountainous areas, light to moderate rain or snowfall is also possible in some places.
These conditions are likely to continue into the night, with light to moderate rain and thunder in the hills and scattered showers elsewhere.
Heavy rain is expected to persist in select areas of the four provinces, along with light to moderate rain or snowfall in the high mountain regions.
