House of Representatives meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

According to the meeting agenda, Secretary of the House of Representatives, Harkaraj Rai, will table messages received from the National Assembly concerning the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2080 and the Exchange Bill, 2080, both of which originated in the House of Representatives.

The agenda also includes discussion on the Appropriation Bill, 2082, the Economic Bill, 2082, and the National Debt Recovery Bill, 2082, along with related messages from the National Assembly.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, is expected to present the Industrial Property Bill, 2082.

Additionally, the Federal Parliament Secretariat has indicated that Minister for Youth and Sports, Tejulal Chaudhary, may present the National Sports Development (First Amendment) Bill, 2082.

Today’s meeting will also include the presentation of the 62nd annual report of the Auditor General, as well as the annual report of the Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee.
