KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for today. As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 134.80, while the selling rate stands at NPR 135.40.
Similarly, one European euro is being bought at NPR 152.70 and sold at NPR 153.38. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 180.14, with the selling rate at NPR 180.94.
One Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 163.40 and sold at NPR 164.13. The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 87.05 and a selling rate of NPR 87.44, while the Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 97.58 and sold at NPR 98.01.
Likewise, the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is NPR 104.56, with the selling rate fixed at NPR 105.02.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.43 and the selling rate is NPR 9.47. One Chinese yuan is being bought at NPR 18.68 and sold at NPR 18.76.
The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.94 and a selling rate of NPR 36.10, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at NPR 36.98 and sold at NPR 37.15.
The buying rate for one Thai baht is NPR 4.13 and the selling rate is NPR 4.15. Similarly, one UAE dirham is being bought at NPR 36.70 and sold at NPR 36.86. The Malaysian ringgit is being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 31.85 and a selling rate of NPR 31.99.
In addition, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.76, while the selling rate is NPR 9.81. One Swedish kronor is being bought at NPR 14.01 and sold at NPR 14.07. The Danish kronor has a buying rate of NPR 20.46 and a selling rate of NPR 20.55.
Furthermore, the Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 17.39 and the selling rate at NPR 17.47.
The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 439.69 and sold at NPR 441.65. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 357.55 and a selling rate of NPR 359.14, while the Omani rial is being bought at NPR 350.13 and sold at NPR 351.69.
Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
