Three parliamentary committees holding meetings today



KATHMANDU: Three committees of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today.

The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene at 10 a.m. at Singha Durbar. The meeting will focus on discussions related to on-site monitoring of the human rights situation of people living in buffer zones, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

Similarly, the Finance Committee is set to meet at 11 a.m., also at Singha Durbar. The committee will hold deliberations with the Ministry of Finance regarding the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Likewise, the Women and Social Affairs Committee will gather at 3 p.m. at Singha Durbar to review and discuss the annual report of the Muslim Commission for the fiscal year 2080–81.
