PM Oli arrives in Surkhet for convocation and Provincial Assembly address



SURKHET: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in Surkhet to attend the convocation ceremony of Mid-West University and deliver a special address at the Karnali Provincial Assembly.

The convocation ceremony is set to take place at the central administrative building of the university in Kuinepani.

As the chief guest, Prime Minister Oli is expected to address the graduating students, faculty, and dignitaries during the event.

Following the convocation, the Prime Minister will proceed to the Karnali Provincial Assembly, where he is scheduled to deliver a special address.

According to Provincial Assembly Secretary Jibaraj Budhathoki, Karnali Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel will officially welcome the Prime Minister at the assembly at 2:30 pm.

Prime Minister Oli’s visit to Surkhet comes at a crucial time as discussions on development policies, federal governance, and Karnali’s infrastructure challenges remain key issues in the province.

His address is expected to outline the government’s vision for the region, focusing on economic growth, education, and connectivity.
