Gold price falls by Rs 500

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has dropped by Rs 500 per tola on Friday, marking a slight decline after recent fluctuations in the precious metals market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 170,200 per tola, down from Thursday’s price of Rs 170,700 per tola.

This decrease follows a series of price adjustments influenced by global market trends and local demand-supply dynamics.

While gold prices saw a decline, silver prices experienced an increase. The price of silver has risen by Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 1,990. The previous day, silver was traded at Rs 1,985 per tola.
