One killed, five injured in vehicle accident on BP Highway



SINDHULI: One person died in a private vehicle accident while traveling from Jhapa to Kathmandu.

The accident occurred this morning in Golanjor Rural Municipality-5 along the BP Highway, injuring five people, with one in critical condition.

According to Superintendent of Police Govinda Raj Kafle from the District Police Office, 27-year-old Sushant Nepali, a resident of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality in Dolakha, died in the crash.

Devi Limbu, 34, from Letang Municipality-2 in Morang, is in critical condition and is being treated at Sindhuli Hospital.

The other injured include San Bahadur Tamang, 53, from Deumai Municipality-8 in Ilam; Shweta Giri, 28, and Sanjay Rokka, 28, both from Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-5 in Kathmandu; and Kisku Mandal, 27, from Bahragadhi Rural Municipality-1 in Jhapa.
