KATHMANDU: The third day of discussions at the sixth meeting of the eighth Central Committee of the Maoist Centre commenced today.

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal initiated the session with a brief statement, emphasizing that a unanimous consensus had been reached on the political proposal.

He announced that the discussions on the proposal would be concluded by 2 pm today, after which the decision-making process would proceed.

The meeting is expected to conclude later today.
