Forex: US dollar hits all-time high



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has issued the exchange rates for foreign currencies today (Monday).

According to the Bank, the US dollar has reached an all-time high once again. As the US dollar continues to surge, other currencies, including the euro, pound, Australian dollar, Bahraini dinar, and Kuwaiti dinar, have also become more expensive.

According to the exchange rates provided by the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 137 rupees and 03 paisa, while the selling rate is 137 rupees and 63 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 136 rupees and 94 paisa, with the selling rate at 137 rupees and 54 paisa. The US dollar, which set a record high on Poush 20, has now set another all-time high.

In addition, the buying rate for one euro today is 142 rupees and 68 paisa, with the selling rate at 143 rupees and 31 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for one euro was 141 rupees and 17 paisa, with the selling rate at 141 rupees and 79 paisa.

The buying rate for one pound sterling today is 171 rupees and 78 paisa, with the selling rate at 172 rupees and 53 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for one pound sterling was 170 rupees and 10 paisa, and the selling rate was 170 rupees and 85 paisa.

Today, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is 88 rupees and 08 paisa, with the selling rate at 86 rupees and 45 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for one Australian dollar was 85 rupees and 09 paisa, and the selling rate was 85 rupees and 47 paisa.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar today is 444 rupees and 59 paisa, with the selling rate at 446 rupees and 54 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar was 443 rupees and 80 paisa, with the selling rate at 445 rupees and 75 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is 363 rupees and 50 paisa, with the selling rate at 365 rupees and 09 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar was 363 rupees and 24 paisa, with the selling rate at 364 rupees and 83 paisa.
