Kathmandu Valley sees sharp drop in minimum temperature



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley fell significantly over the past 24 hours.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the Valley recorded a minimum temperature of 6.2 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today (Saturday).

At the same time on Friday, the minimum temperature was 9.0 degrees Celsius, indicating a sharp decline of nearly 3 degrees in just one day. On Friday, the temperature had further dropped to 8.6 degrees Celsius by 8:45 am.

The Division will publish the official minimum temperature for today at 8:45 am, and meteorologists say there is a possibility of an additional drop.
