Kanti Highway to remain closed for maintenance from today



LALITPUR: Kanti Highway will remain closed for two months starting today to allow for essential maintenance and road expansion work.

According to the District Administration Office, Lalitpur, traffic will be halted daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along various sections of the highway, which connects Kathmandu to Hetauda.

The Kanti Highway Road Plan stated that all vehicular movement will be fully restricted during the maintenance period to ensure smooth and safe execution of the expansion works. Authorities have urged motorists and transport operators to use alternative routes until the project is completed.
