Nepali Congress holds gathering to press for regular general convention



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress supporters advocating for a regular general convention have begun a gathering at Anupam Foodland in Battisputali on Thursday.

The event, organized by the party’s institutional wing, aims to generate pressure from the ward level to the central committee for holding the regular convention on time.

The gathering is chaired by Bhaktapur district president Durlabh Thapa. Among the participants are Koshi Province president Uddhav Thapa, General Secretary Bhupendra Rai, Mugu district president Ain Bahadur Shahi, Okhaldhunga president Tejendra Khanal, Myagdi president Kham Bahadur Kharvuja, Achham president Pushpa Bahadur Shah, and a large number of other party leaders and workers.
