President Paudel concludes Doha visit, returning home today



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel is scheduled to return home this afternoon after attending the Second World Summit for Social Development held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

During his visit, President Poudel addressed the main session of the global summit on Tuesday, highlighting Nepal’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable social progress.

He also spoke at a high-level roundtable discussion focused on strengthening the three core pillars of social development—poverty eradication, full and productive employment and decent work for all, and social inclusion.

The summit brought together global leaders and policymakers to discuss collaborative approaches to achieving equitable and sustainable social advancement.
