PM Karki calls meeting of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has convened a meeting of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

According to Dinesh Prasad Bhatta, Executive Chief of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

The council is expected to make key decisions on enhancing the effectiveness of relief operations, rebuilding structures damaged by floods and landslides, and arranging temporary and permanent housing for affected communities.
