KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) is set to take place this afternoon at the party’s central office in Paris Danda.
According to Secretariat member Haribol Gajurel, the meeting will begin at 1 PM and will discuss key agendas including the date for the party’s central convention and the selection of representatives.
Earlier, on September 26, the Maoist Centre had dissolved its Central Committee and announced that a special national convention would be held in December. Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is coordinating the preparations for the convention.
