KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today, Monday. As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 141.74, while the selling rate is NPR 142.34.
The Euro is being bought at NPR 166.44 and sold at NPR 167.14. The buying and selling rates for one British Pound Sterling are NPR 191.06 and NPR 191.87, respectively. Similarly, the Swiss Franc is being bought at NPR 178.21 and sold at NPR 178.97.
For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 93.61 and the selling rate is NPR 94.91. The Canadian Dollar is being bought at NPR 101.59 and sold at NPR 102.02. One Singapore Dollar is being exchanged at NPR 109.97 (buying) and NPR 110.44 (selling).
Likewise, for 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.61 and the selling rate is NPR 9.65. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at NPR 19.91 and sold at NPR 19.99. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is trading at NPR 37.79 (buying) and NPR 37.95 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is at NPR 38.89 (buying) and NPR 39.05 (selling).
The Thai Baht is being exchanged at NPR 4.39 (buying) and NPR 4.40 (selling), while the UAE Dirham is at NPR 38.59 and NPR 38.76. The Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at NPR 33.68 and sold at NPR 33.83.
For 100 South Korean Won, the rates are NPR 10.07 (buying) and NPR 10.11 (selling). The Swedish Kronor is trading at NPR 15.12 and NPR 15.19, and the Danish Kronor at NPR 22.29 and NPR 22.39.
According to the central bank, the Hong Kong Dollar is being bought at NPR 18.22 and sold at NPR 18.29. The Kuwaiti Dinar is at NPR 464.95 (buying) and NPR 466.92 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 375.98 and NPR 377.57, and the Omani Rial at NPR 368.14 and NPR 369.70.
For 100 Indian Rupees, the buying rate is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these exchange rates are subject to change and may be revised as needed. The exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
