NEPSE edges up by 2.40 points to close at 2,706.36



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted a modest increase of 2.40 points (0.08%) on Sunday, closing at 2,706.36. This comes after a 9.14-point rise in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,708.24 and fluctuated throughout the day, hitting a high of 2,722.33 and a low of 2,697.32. Total daily turnover reached Rs. 9.5 billion, with 27,132,308 shares changing hands across 318 listed companies in 87,398 transactions.

The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 4.50 trillion, while the float market capitalization was reported at Rs. 1.52 trillion.
