NRB publishes Sunday’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Sunday), with rates remaining stable across all major currencies including the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, pound sterling, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is NPR 136.34, while the selling rate stands at NPR 136.94. These rates are the same as yesterday’s, showing no fluctuation in the value of the US dollar.

Today, the buying rate for one euro is NPR 160.58, and the selling rate is NPR 161.29. The pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 186.10 and a selling rate of NPR 186.92. The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 89.43 and a selling rate of NPR 89.82.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is NPR 446.67, while the selling rate is NPR 448.64. The Bahraini dinar is being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 361.67 and a selling rate of NPR 363.26.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
