Body of missing APF personnel found, search for another continues in Saptakoshi



ITAHARI: A 35-member team led by Senior Superintendent of Police Netra Karki of the Armed Police Force has been deployed to search for two security personnel who went missing in the Saptakoshi River on Thursday during a disaster relief drill.

According to Yograj Khatiwada, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the team recovered the body of Haredev Rajbanshi, an APF soldier from Jhapa, on the banks of the Saptakoshi River earlier today.

The search operation is still underway for Suraj Saud, a police personnel from Doti, who remains missing.
