KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, has predicted rain and snowfall in only a few areas across the country today (Friday).
According to the Division, there is a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi Province and a few places in other hilly regions.
Light rain and snowfall are also likely in a few high hilly and mountainous areas.
Tonight, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in a few places of Koshi Province, and in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Additionally, light rain and snowfall may occur in one or two areas of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
