KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates for today. As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at NPR 134.51, while the selling rate stands at NPR 135.11.
Likewise, the euro is being bought at NPR 152.66 and sold at NPR 153.34. The exchange rate for one British pound is fixed at NPR 179.15 for buying and NPR 179.95 for selling.
For the Swiss franc, the buying rate is NPR 163.47 and the selling rate is NPR 164.20.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is NPR 86.28 and the selling rate is NPR 87.67. One Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 97.45 and sold at NPR 97.88, while the rate for the Singapore dollar is set at NPR 104.37 for buying and NPR 104.84 for selling.
According to the central bank, 10 Japanese yen are being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 9.35 and a selling rate of NPR 9.39. The Chinese yuan is being bought at NPR 18.50 and sold at NPR 18.58.
Similarly, one Saudi riyal fetches NPR 35.87 when bought and NPR 36.03 when sold, and the Qatari riyal is priced at NPR 36.90 for buying and NPR 37.07 for selling.
The Thai baht has been valued at NPR 4.09 for buying and NPR 4.11 for selling. The exchange rate for one UAE dirham is NPR 36.62 for buying and NPR 36.78 for selling. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at NPR 32.03 and sold at NPR 32.17.
In the case of the South Korean won, 100 units are being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 9.82 and a selling rate of NPR 9.87.
The Swedish krona is priced at NPR 13.98 for buying and NPR 14.04 for selling, while the Danish krona stands at NPR 20.46 for buying and NPR 20.55 for selling.
Furthermore, the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar is NPR 17.36 for buying and NPR 17.43 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is trading at NPR 438.77 for buying and NPR 440.73 for selling.
Similarly, the Bahraini dinar is priced at NPR 356.77 for buying and NPR 358.36 for selling. The Omani rial is being bought at NPR 349.38 and sold at NPR 350.94.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160, with the selling rate slightly higher at NPR 160.15.
