Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for Sunday, outlining the buying and selling rates of various international currencies against the Nepali rupee.

As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 136.08, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 136.68. Similarly, one European euro is being bought at Rs. 150.39 and sold at Rs. 151.05.

The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs. 176.84, with the selling rate set at Rs. 177.62. In the case of the Swiss franc, the buying and selling rates have been fixed at Rs. 160.24 and Rs. 160.94 respectively.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is being exchanged at Rs. 82.52 for buying and Rs. 82.88 for selling.

The Canadian dollar stands at Rs. 95.79 for buying and Rs. 96.22 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is priced at Rs. 101.47 and Rs. 101.91 for buying and selling respectively.

For Asian currencies, the rate for 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs. 9.39 for buying and Rs. 9.43 for selling. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs. 18.69 and the selling rate is Rs. 18.77.

The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs. 36.26 and sold at Rs. 36.42, whereas the Qatari riyal is exchanged at Rs. 37.33 and Rs. 37.50 for buying and selling respectively.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs. 3.98, with the selling rate at Rs. 4.00. One UAE dirham is being traded at Rs. 3.05 for buying and Rs. 3.21 for selling.

The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs. 3.67 and a selling rate of Rs. 3.80. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs. 9.39 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.43.

The Swedish krona is valued at Rs. 13.69 for buying and Rs. 13.75 for selling, while the Danish krona is being exchanged at Rs. 20.15 and Rs. 20.24.

The central bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 17.51 and the selling rate at Rs. 17.59. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 442.51 and sold at Rs. 444.46, while the Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs. 360.99 and Rs. 362.58 respectively.

One Omani rial is being exchanged at Rs. 353.49 for buying and Rs. 355.05 for selling.

Similarly, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
