Weather to remain clear across most parts of Nepal

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that Nepal is currently experiencing the partial impact of a westerly low-pressure system, bringing slight weather variations to the hilly regions.

Despite these changes, most parts of the country will see clear skies, with only light fog affecting some areas in the Terai.

According to the Division, the weather will remain fair in the majority of the country this afternoon, with partial cloud cover expected in hilly areas. The pattern is likely to persist into the night, with the hilly regions experiencing some cloudiness while the rest of the country remains clear.

In the next 24 hours, light snowfall is predicted at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Additionally, light fog is expected in some parts of the Terai on Friday morning.

The Division has advised caution for those traveling or working in fog-affected areas due to possible visibility issues.
