Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign exchange rates. According to the rates set by the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at 143 rupees 67 paisa, while the selling rate is 144 rupees 27 paisa.

Likewise, the buying rate for one European euro is 167 rupees 73 paisa and the selling rate is 168 rupees 44 paisa. One UK pound sterling buys at 191 rupees 89 paisa and sells at 192 rupees 69 paisa. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is 179 rupees 61 paisa, with the selling rate fixed at 180 rupees 36 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar has been set at 94 rupees 97 paisa and the selling rate at 95 rupees 37 paisa. One Canadian dollar buys at 102 rupees 86 paisa and sells at 103 rupees 29 paisa, while one Singapore dollar buys at 110 rupees 95 paisa and sells at 111 rupees 42 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 33 paisa. One Chinese yuan buys at 20 rupees 32 paisa and sells at 20 rupees 40 paisa. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 38 rupees 28 paisa, with a selling rate of 38 rupees 44 paisa, and one Qatari riyal buys at 39 rupees 43 paisa and sells at 39 rupees 59 paisa.

According to the central bank, one Thai baht buys at 4 rupees 49 paisa and sells at 4 rupees 51 paisa. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is 39 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 28 paisa. One Malaysian ringgit buys at 34 rupees 94 paisa and sells at 35 rupees 09 paisa.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is 9 rupees 77 paisa, with a selling rate of 9 rupees 81 paisa. The buying rate for one Swedish kronor is 15 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate is 15 rupees 38 paisa, while one Danish kronor buys at 22 rupees 46 paisa and sells at 22 rupees 55 paisa.

The NRB has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 46 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 53 paisa. One Kuwaiti dinar buys at 468 rupees 42 paisa and sells at 470 rupees 38 paisa, while one Bahraini dinar buys at 381 rupees 09 paisa and sells at 382 rupees 68 paisa.

The buying rate for one Omani rial is 373 rupees 16 paisa and the selling rate is 374 rupees 72 paisa. Meanwhile, the buying rate for one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees, with the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
