Bodies of two foreign tourists and guide brought to Teaching Hospital for post-mortem



KATHMANDU: The bodies of two foreign tourists and a local guide, who tragically lost their lives in an avalanche near Yalung Ri Himal in the Rolwaling region, have been transported to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post-mortem.

The victims, an Italian tourist, a French tourist, and their Nepali guide, were caught in the avalanche near the Yalung Ri Himal base camp on Monday morning.

The bodies were recovered from the avalanche site in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9, Dolakha, and have now been brought to the hospital for forensic examination. The incident has raised concerns over the safety of mountaineering expeditions in the region.
