KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.74, while the selling rate stands at Rs 142.34.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 166.34, and the selling rate is Rs 167.04. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 190.60, and the selling rate is Rs 191.41. For the Swiss franc, the buying rate is Rs 177.98 and the selling rate is Rs 178.73.
The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 93.60 and sold at Rs 93.99. The Canadian dollar’s buying rate is Rs 101.49 and selling rate is Rs 101.92. Likewise, one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 109.94 and sold at Rs 110.40.
Similarly, the rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.62 (buying) and Rs 9.66 (selling), while the rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 19.91 (buying) and Rs 19.99 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 37.79 and sold at Rs 37.95, and the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 38.89 and sold at Rs 39.05.
According to the central bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.37 and sold at Rs 4.39. The buying and selling rates for the UAE dirham are Rs 38.59 and Rs 38.76, respectively.
The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 33.68 (buying) and Rs 33.83 (selling), while 100 South Korean won is being bought at Rs 10.08 and sold at Rs 10.13. One Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs 15.11 and sold at Rs 15.17, and the Danish kronor is valued at Rs 22.28 (buying) and Rs 22.37 (selling).
The Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 18.21 and sold at Rs 18.29. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 463.38 and the selling rate is Rs 465.34. One Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 375.98 and sold at Rs 377.57. The Omani rial is being bought at Rs 368.14 and sold at Rs 369.70.
Meanwhile, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as needed. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the most recent updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
