Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Saturday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 136.34, while the selling rate is Rs 136.94.

The euro is being traded at Rs 160.58 for buying and Rs 161.29 for selling. The pound sterling’s buying rate is Rs 186.10 and selling rate is Rs 186.92. The Swiss franc is being exchanged at Rs 171.83 for buying and Rs 172.59 for selling.

The Australian dollar stands at Rs 89.43 for buying and Rs 89.82 for selling, while the Canadian dollar is being traded at Rs 100.31 and Rs 100.75 respectively. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 107.05 and selling rate of Rs 107.52.

Ten Japanese yen are worth Rs 9.45 when bought and Rs 9.49 when sold. The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 19.04 for buying and Rs 19.12 for selling. The Saudi riyal’s rates are Rs 36.35 and Rs 36.51 respectively, and the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 37.41 for buying and Rs 37.57 for selling.

The Thai baht is being traded at Rs 4.22 for buying and Rs 4.24 for selling. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 37.12 and a selling rate of Rs 37.28. The Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 32.30 and Rs 32.44. One hundred South Korean won are worth Rs 10.00 for buying and Rs 10.05 for selling.

The Swedish krona is being exchanged at Rs 14.27 for buying and Rs 14.34 for selling, while the Danish krone is at Rs 21.52 and Rs 21.62 respectively. The Hong Kong dollar’s rates are Rs 17.37 for buying and Rs 17.45 for selling.

Among high-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 446.67 for buying and Rs 448.64 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 361.67 for buying and Rs 363.26 for selling. The Omani riyal is set at Rs 354.13 for buying and Rs 355.69 for selling.

The Indian rupee is being exchanged at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling per 100 units.

Nepal Rastra Bank has clarified that these rates are indicative and may be revised at any time. The exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ slightly, and the latest official rates are available on the central bank’s website.
