Today’ foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Monday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 135.04, while the selling rate stands at Rs 135.64.

Similarly, one euro is priced at Rs 152.54 for buying and Rs 153.22 for selling. The pound sterling is valued at Rs 179.23 (buying) and Rs 180.03 (selling), while the Swiss franc is listed at Rs 163.34 (buying) and Rs 164.06 (selling).

Among other currencies, the Australian dollar is trading at Rs 87.02 (buying) and Rs 87.41 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 97.71 and Rs 98.14, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 104.07 and Rs 104.53 respectively.

The central bank has also set the exchange rates for 10 Japanese yen at Rs 9.32 (buying) and Rs 9.36 (selling), one Chinese yuan at Rs 18.57 and Rs 18.65, one Saudi riyal at Rs 36.01 and Rs 36.17, and one Qatari riyal at Rs 37.05 and Rs 37.22.

Likewise, the buying and selling rates for one Thai baht are Rs 4.08 and Rs 4.10 respectively; for one UAE dirham, Rs 36.77 and Rs 36.93; and for one Malaysian ringgit, Rs 31.69 and Rs 31.83.

For other currencies: 100 South Korean won are priced at Rs 9.65 (buying) and Rs 9.69 (selling); one Swedish kronor at Rs 13.99 and Rs 14.05; and one Danish kronor at Rs 20.45 and Rs 20.54.

The Hong Kong dollar is listed at Rs 17.42 (buying) and Rs 17.50 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 440.19 and Rs 442.15, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 358.19 and Rs 359.78, and the Omani rial at Rs 350.75 and Rs 352.31.

Additionally, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, with the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
