Communications Minister calls to stand for federal democratic republic



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has called upon all to stand firmly in support of the federal democratic republic.

While inaugurating the 8th edition of Ncell Barhakhari Golf organized by Barhakhari Media Pvt Ltd at Gokarna Resort in Kathmandu today, he urged all to stand against autocracy in the country.

Minister Gurung opined that sports and other activities were possible only in a democracy. A total of 96 corporate players participated in the tournament at Gokarna Resort in the capital.

Dorje Hozangstang has won the title in the tournament. Captain Norbu Sherpa was the winner in the first edition of Corporate Golf.

Similarly, Rekha Ghimire has emerged as the winner in the women’s category.
