Humanitarian service supreme deed: President Paudel



KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel asserted that there is no other greater deed than serving humanity.

At a documentary screening programme organized by the Manav Sewa Ashram, a charity, here today, President Paudel emphasized adopting good deeds like humanitarian service as a way of life to make human life meaningful.

Expressing concern over declining humanity and morality in the recent times, Paudel expressed his confidence that humanitarian service would inspire society to move on the right path.

The Head of the State acknowledged the activism of the Manav Sewa Ashram for management of people left stranded, from providing them shelter to medical attention, thereby protecting their lives.

The President hailed that the charity was conducting activities that contribute to enforce government’s commitment to making street free of helpless people by establishing coordination and cooperation with various organizations.

It has been rescuing and rehabilitating the helpless people stranded in streets.
On the occasion, a documentary was screened on the third Mechikali nationwide rescue campaign.

President Paudel honoured chief campaigner and Chairman of Manav Sewa Ashram, Ramaji Adhikari, and Vice Chairman Homnath Khatiwada. Chairman Adhikari also presented an annual report of the campaign.
