Security tightened at Kailali border with India

KAILALI: Security checks have been intensified at the Nepal–India border in Kailali district.

According to Shivraj Joshi, Information Officer at the District Administration Office, the stricter screening is aimed at preventing unauthorized entry of suspicious individuals or groups from India.

“Security measures have been tightened in view of potential threats,” Joshi said. “If any suspicious person or group is spotted entering the district, people are requested to immediately inform nearby security agencies and cooperate with them.”

The administration has also urged residents not to allow unknown individuals or groups to stay in their homes or involve them in any activities within the community.
