Former President Bhandari obtains replacement copy of citizenship certificate



KATHMANDU: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Tuesday visited the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, to obtain a replacement copy of her citizenship certificate.

Her original citizenship document was destroyed when protesters vandalized and set fire to her residence in Bhainsepati on the second day of the Gen-Z movement on September 9.

According to the administration office, Bhandari personally appeared at the office to complete the process and receive the replacement copy.
