Heavy vehicles banned on Karnali Highway after road collapse



SURKHET: The movement of heavy vehicles along the Karnali Highway has been temporarily suspended following the collapse of a road section at Gothebhir in Tilgufa Municipality-6, Kalikot district, early this morning.

According to the District Police Office, Kalikot, the decision to halt heavy vehicle traffic was made immediately to ensure passenger safety.

“We urge everyone to exercise extreme caution while traveling on the highway, as continuous rainfall has made the route extremely hazardous,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tek Bahadur Rawal.
