Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU; Nepal Rastra Bank has revised the foreign currency exchange rates for Wednesday, with notable increases in the US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar.

In contrast, the exchange rates for currencies such as the euro, pound sterling, and Australian dollar have slightly declined.

Today, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 136.65, while the selling rate is NPR 137.25. This marks an increase from Tuesday’s rates of NPR 136.32 (buying) and NPR 136.92 (selling).

The euro’s buying rate is NPR 155.60 and the selling rate is NPR 156.29, down from Tuesday’s NPR 155.72 and NPR 156.40.

Similarly, the British pound now trades at NPR 184.42 (buying) and NPR 185.23 (selling), compared to the previous day’s NPR 184.58 and NPR 185.40.

The Australian dollar saw a slight drop, with today’s buying and selling rates at NPR 88.21 and NPR 88.60 respectively, down from NPR 88.41 and NPR 88.80.

The Kuwaiti dinar’s rates have climbed to NPR 445.74 (buying) and NPR 447.70 (selling), up from Tuesday’s NPR 444.73 and NPR 446.69.

Similarly, the Bahraini dinar now trades at NPR 362.49 (buying) and NPR 364.08 (selling), compared to NPR 361.61 and NPR 363.20 yesterday.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision as needed.
