Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday.

As per the rates published by the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 135.04, while the selling rate is Rs 135.64. Similarly, one euro is being bought at Rs 153.13 and sold at Rs 153.81.

The exchange rate for one British pound sterling stands at Rs 179.55 for buying and Rs 180.35 for selling. Likewise, the Swiss franc is priced at Rs 163.91 for buying and Rs 164.64 for selling.

In the case of other currencies, one Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 86.91 and sold at Rs 87.30, while one Canadian dollar is exchanged at Rs 97.71 for buying and Rs 98.14 for selling. The Singapore dollar stands at Rs 104.19 for buying and Rs 104.66 for selling, according to the central bank.

For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are being exchanged at Rs 9.35 for buying and Rs 9.39 for selling. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 18.57 for buying and Rs 18.65 for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs 36.01 for buying and Rs 36.17 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is exchanged at Rs 37.05 and Rs 37.21 respectively.

The Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.09 and sold at Rs 4.11, and the UAE dirham is priced at Rs 36.77 for buying and Rs 36.93 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 31.69 for buying and Rs 31.83 for selling.

Additionally, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.65, while the selling rate is Rs 9.69.

The Swedish kronor is exchanged at Rs 13.99 for buying and Rs 14.06 for selling, and the Danish kronor at Rs 20.52 and Rs 20.61, respectively. The Hong Kong dollar is priced at Rs 17.42 for buying and Rs 17.50 for selling.

Among the Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar holds the highest value, with a buying rate of Rs 440.34 and a selling rate of Rs 442.30.

The Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 358.18 and sold at Rs 359.77, while the Omani rial is exchanged at Rs 350.76 for buying and Rs 352.32 for selling. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
