Gold price up by Rs 1,400 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver, which had remained stable for the past three days, increased today.

The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,400 per tola, while silver has increased by Rs 25 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers.

As a result, gold is now being traded at Rs 169,500 per tola. Yesterday, the price of gold was Rs 168,100. Last Friday, Sunday, and Monday, the price remained unchanged at Rs 168,100 per tola.

Earlier last week, the price of gold saw a decline. On Friday, it dropped by Rs 2,200 per tola, while on Wednesday, it fell by Rs 1,000, and on Thursday, it dropped by Rs 200.

The price of silver also increased today. The Federation has set the price of silver at Rs 1,940 per tola.
