German Ambassador calls on Acting President Yadav



KATHMANDU: German Ambassador to Nepal Udo Eugen Volz on Monday paid a courtesy call on Acting President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav at the Office of the Vice President in Lainchaur.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the friendly ties between the two countries, the issues of mutual assistance, development partnership, investment, and trade and tourism promotion, the Office of the Vice President stated.

On the occasion, the Acting President expressed satisfaction to the mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries since their diplomatic ties in 1958.

Yadav stated that the high-level visits, development partnership, people to people ties, investment and tourism are the pillars of bilateral relations between Nepal and Germany. Likewise, the Acting President shared with the German Ambassador about the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for March 5, 2026.
