Minister Ghising clarifies: reports of resignation are false

KATHMANDU: Energy, Drinking Water, and Irrigation Minister Kulman Ghising has refuted rumors that he is resigning to form a new political party.

Issuing a clarification through Facebook on Monday, Minister Ghising dismissed media reports and social media claims suggesting that he was preparing to quit his post to enter politics.

“My attention has been drawn to news circulating in various media outlets and social media platforms claiming that I am resigning from my post. I would like to clarify that these reports are completely baseless,” he stated.

Recalling that the current interim government was formed following the historic Gen-Z movement, Ghising reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the people’s expectations and trust.

“While handling responsibilities across three ministries, I remain actively dedicated to carrying forward the mandate and confidence entrusted by the people through the movement,” he added.
