Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal inspects President Paudel’s damaged residence

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal visited President Ram Chandra Paudel’s private residence in Bohoratar on Monday to inspect damages caused during the Gen-Z protest on September 9.

During the protest, the residence was vandalized and partially set on fire. Minister Aryal assured the President’s family that repairs and restoration work would be carried out.

The inspection was conducted alongside Chief District Officer Ishwar Raj Paudel of Kathmandu District Administration Office and Armed Police Force Chief Raju Aryal.

The team also visited Balaju Police Post, which was damaged during the same protest. Reconstruction has begun there with local cooperation, though the police chief highlighted land ownership issues to the Home Minister.
