Nepal Medical Association to hold central committee elections in January



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Medical Association (NMA) has announced that its central executive committee elections will be held in January 2026.

The elections will select new leadership for a three-year term. The NMA’s central election commission has released the schedule and program for the voting process.

The elections will be conducted in two phases. Outside the Kathmandu Valley, NMA branch offices will hold voting on January 16 and 17, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Within the Kathmandu Valley, voting at the NMA central office is scheduled for January 29, 30, and 31, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Positions to be elected in the central executive committee include the President, Senior Vice President, Vice Presidents from seven provinces, General Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary, and Joint Treasurer, among other key posts.
