Minister Ghising denies involvement with Ujyaalo Nepal Party

KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Kulman Ghising, has clarified that he has no affiliation with the Ujyaalo Nepal Party.

In a statement, Ghising expressed serious concern over news reports and social media posts linking his name with the party and its chairperson. He stressed that there has been no discussion about his involvement in the party, as reported, nor will he be participating in any Zoom meetings.

Writing on Facebook, Minister Ghising said, “I have taken serious note of the news and information published on social and mainstream media citing the Ujyaalo Nepal Party and its chairperson. Contrary to claims, there has been no discussion regarding my involvement in the party, nor did I participate in any Zoom meetings. Without any consultation or discussion with me, false and baseless information has been spread with ill intent. I strongly refute this and urge everyone not to be misled. I also call on concerned parties to refrain from disseminating such unfounded content in the future.”
