Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday), keeping all rates unchanged from Saturday.

The exchange rates for major currencies—including the US dollar, euro, pound sterling, Australian dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar—remain stable.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 139.77, while the selling rate is NPR 140.37, the same as yesterday.

Similarly, the euro is being traded at NPR 159.51 for buying and NPR 160.20 for selling. The pound sterling stands at NPR 184.02 for buying and NPR 184.81 for selling.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 89.88 and a selling rate of NPR 90.26. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at NPR 456.53 for buying and NPR 458.49 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar trades at NPR 370.74 for buying and NPR 372.33 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates may be revised as necessary. It also clarified that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the latest updates can be accessed via the central bank’s official website.
