Dr Santosh Paudel elected president of National Health Professional  Federation



Kathmandu — Dr. Santosh Paudel has been unanimously elected as the new president of the National Health Professional  Federation Nepal.

The federation’s presidium announced a 99-member central committee under Dr. Paudel’s leadership on Monday evening. The decision was made with full consensus among the members.

Amrita Baral and Ramhari Dhakal were also unanimously selected as vice presidents of the federation. Bhimraj Singh was elected general secretary, while Khag Raj Pokharel was chosen unopposed as deputy general secretary.

Chandra Sunar, Rupa KC, Harendra Yadav, and Anup KC were appointed as secretaries. All other members of the central committee were also selected unanimously.

The newly formed leadership is expected to play a key role in advocating for the rights and interests of health workers across the country.
