NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. The buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 148.07, while the selling rate stands at Rs 148.67.

The buying rate of one euro is Rs 173.54 and the selling rate is Rs 174.24. The UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 199.33 (buying) and Rs 200.14 (selling), while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 187.63 (buying) and Rs 188.39 (selling).

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 104.57 and the selling rate is Rs 104.99. The Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 106.98 (buying) and Rs 107.41 (selling), and the Singapore dollar at Rs 116.23 (buying) and Rs 116.70 (selling).

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.30 and the selling rate is Rs 9.33. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 21.69 (buying) and Rs 21.77 (selling), the Saudi riyal at Rs 39.46 (buying) and Rs 39.62 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.62 (buying) and Rs 40.78 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.62 (buying) and Rs 4.64 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 40.31 (buying) and Rs 40.47 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.34 (buying) and Rs 37.50 (selling).

Likewise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.97 and the selling rate is Rs 10.01. The Swedish kronor stands at Rs 15.98 (buying) and Rs 16.05 (selling), while the Danish kronor is set at Rs 23.23 (buying) and Rs 23.33 (selling).

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 18.91 and the selling rate at Rs 18.98. The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 483.26 (buying) and Rs 485.22 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 392.76 (buying) and Rs 394.35 (selling), and the Omani riyal at Rs 385.10 (buying) and Rs 386.66 (selling). Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

The central bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates are available on its official website.
