Both Houses of Federal Parliament to meet today



KATHMANDU: Both Houses of the Federal Parliament are meeting today. The House of Representatives is scheduled to convene at 11:00 AM, while the National Assembly will meet at 1:15 PM.

According to the tentative schedule, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present a proposal for a general discussion on the estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2025/026 in the House of Representatives.

Likewise, Ramhari Khatiwada, Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, is scheduled to present the committee’s report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082.

In the National Assembly, Finance Minister Paudel will also present a proposal seeking consideration of the ‘Customs Bill, 2080’.

Similarly, Minister for Education, Health and Technology, Raghuji Pant, will present a proposal for discussion on the ‘Martyr Dasharath Chand Institute of Health Sciences Bill, 2080’, which was forwarded by the House of Representatives.
